NEW YEAR'S EVE
24-25

In Thailand, New Year’s Eve is more than a celebration — it’s a time for gathering, gratitude, and exchanging good wishes for the year ahead. Known as Songkran, the Thai New Year traditionally falls in April, but December 31st has also become a cherished occasion to mark fresh beginnings in sync with global festivities. The Thai way of celebrating the New Year is rooted in hospitality, family, and the joy of sharing good fortune with others.

The evening often begins with a welcoming drink to toast to health, happiness, and prosperity. Family and friends gather to share a meal, with dishes designed for sharing to symbolize unity and harmony. From fragrant curries to vibrant pad thais, each dish is crafted to balance flavors, reflecting the Thai belief in achieving harmony in life. As midnight approaches, families come together for a final toast and exchange of blessings.

At Siam, we embrace these cherished traditions, inviting our guests and friends to experience the richness of Thai culture while celebrating the promise of a joyful year ahead in the cozy ambiance of our space.
